The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) has named Mr. Torrey Thomas the 2025 Outstanding STEM Educator in the Innovation in STEM Instruction/Programming category.
The award was based on his personal characteristics as an educator and his contributions to learners, OPA-Middle School, and the Orange County STEM education community.
OCDE will recognize Mr. Thomas at a formal award ceremony in the Fall.
